HPU 2016 First Look Online Mixed-Media Festival
HPU's Media and Cinematic Arts Program produces the annual First Look Mixed Media Festival at the end of the Spring Semester. The FLO online exhibition is a juried competition open to all HPU students. The first HPU First Look Mixed Media Festival happened in 2009, and at the time submission was open to both faculty and students alike. In 2015 the First Look Committee changed the format to a student-only competition.
The 2016 winner of the First Look Poster Competition is Integrated Multimedia major Thomas Sifford.

FLO Overview
Students taking courses in Media and Cinematic Arts at HPU produce transmedia content across many platforms. First Look is an opportunity for family, friends and the larger HPU community to get a glimpse at work media creatives at HPU have done over the past academic year.
Projects were chosen from 100s of eligible works. Sometimes excellent work does not make it into our First Look Online exhibition because it is being held by creatives for competition or other intellectual property consideration.
